Help Save Amsterdam Tattoo Museum Nov 23rd 2012, 10:07 It' a shame when good deals go bad and such is the case for the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum. The beloved collection and vision of Henk & Louise Schiffmacher, the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum is a sanctuary for both art and tattoo lovers. Since their successful 2011 opening, the museum's business partnership took a sour turn, and now the founders are locked out of their own museum and away from their vast collection. The following plea for support has been posted on the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum website: Dear Friends. We need your support now more than ever. On November 5th 2011 we started the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum, a home for tattoo and art lovers. We started with in a partnership but it didn't turn out as we imagined. After almost a year of fighting this morning we were forbidden to access to our own museum and our collection is taken hostage. We are doing everything we can to, so please stay tuned and fight with us for what is ours! More news tomorrow..
