HMV UK Music Retailer Bans Long Hair and Tattoos in the Workplace Oct 28th 2012, 14:02 If you're a music lover, have long hair and tattoos and also happen to work at HMV Music, you may no longer. Unless your tattoos can be covered up, they are considered extreme body art and will no longer be permitted in the workplace. Flip flops have also been banned. New management dictates HMV employees wear new trainers and look clean and neat. This means get a haircut and cover up your tattoos. Is this fair or considered discrimination?
